I am an animator, illustrator, and filmmaker in my 3rd year at DePaul University, where I am pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Animation. Majoring in Radio/Television/Film, I graduated from Northwestern University in June 2018.
I completed Duet, an animated short film, in Spring 2021. With funds from a DePaul University grant, I am submitting the project to a variety of film festivals around the globe. Duet has already been accepted into eight festivals, and won Best Animated Film at Film Crash Festival 2021.
I am now in the midst of production on my thesis film, Kid President, while also lending my animation skills towards freelance work. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cheering on the New York Yankees, and making music with my band, The Scary Part.
Duet is an animated short film that explores the persistence of love, the transcendence of music, and the heartache of losing a loved one.
The film is being screened at festivals including Children's Film Festival Seattle, The Palm Springs Animation Festival, and the Garden State Film Festival.
